Dear Interested Party,
You are welcome to give this software a try, free of charge. Note first that this is not a simple, one dimensional product. It consists of around 200 programs and does many things--and does them in an integrated way. To check it out there are two ways to go: (1) a quick tour of the public Parent menus and/or (2) an actual look at the administrative nuts and bolts. Here's how:
The Quick Tour: At the link below I've created a site for a phony club called DEMO and placed a phony player roster and OCTOBER schedule for one of its teams called SQH1. From the DEMO Main Menu select the Parent Menu and request info about the SQH1 team. (Note that unless you're actually doing this in October, there are no Upcoming Games or Team Stats yet.) To sample the pin protected selections, use the player last name, Orr, and the SSN pin, 0004. (For grins, check the DEMO Board Directory.) Back on the DEMO Main Menu you may also examine the player Registration Menu and the SQH1 Team Menu. (There is no Referee info to request.) When you're ready for the Quick Tour click here.
The Real Thing: If you want actually to try some of the administrative functions, here is how we proceed: the link below will give you a club profile form to fill out. When you complete the form and click "Enter", I will be notified to set up some web space for your club. When I have done this, I will send you--you are the "Main Contact" on this form--a User ID and Password. With these, you will be able to make a quick, but real, trial of the main features of PuckWare.
A word about filling out the Profile form: obviously, you will not need to provide absolutely complete information. And, if you wish, at the beginning much of it can be phony or only partly complete. (You will be able to update this profile later.) But it will be necessary to enter your real email address. And you will find it very helpful to enter your own email address into the slots for other administrators. You should also enter at least a couple of your club teams and opponents, as well as at least one home rink and some away rinks. If you are skittish about sending me your email address, please realize that I'm not in the business of collecting and selling them. ( If I were, this would be an insane way to do it!) And, anyway, I won't hassle you; I promise.

Sincerely,
Lyn Pankoff
